Background
The Five Fingers Pre-Military Academy, established in September 2018, focuses on addressing the challenges of the modern era.
The academy emphasizes the importance of moral excellence, alongside the development of leadership skills, with the goal of instilling a value-based, caring culture in all areas of life.
The physical-mental training method, developed by the Five Fingers Movement, not only enhances physical and mental abilities but also serves as a central educational tool that strengthens the sense of partnership and trust among group members. It encourages leadership development through social responsibility.
The academy believes that by facing physical and mental challenges as a group, it is possible to cultivate a generation of young leaders with resilience, capable of taking on the mission of leading Israeli society towards a better future.
The aspiration is to create a society founded on trust, where moral excellence leads to the development of a strong, ethical, and healthy community.
The Pre-Military Year
Physical-Mental Tools – Using physical experiences that the trainees go through as individuals and as a group, guided by a team of professional instructors and coaches, following the Five Fingers method.
Learning – Public speaking, politics and Israeli society, anthropology, training theory, cinema and documentaries, history and politics, the land of Israel, and tools and skills for the 21st century.Action – Impact in relevant social arenas, through involvement in projects based on national needs. For example, during "Operation Swords of Iron," the academy worked in the Dead Sea and Eilat as an educational-social response for evacuated communities.
Social Awareness – Understanding a variety of topics and fields that shape our reality through exposure and deep engagement with all sectors of Israeli society. This is done through face-to-face meetings with diverse populations.
Responsibility – Gaining tools for project management, leading the agenda in the academy, and providing a platform for initiating social and educational ventures.
