Mechina students step up for Israeli agriculture
Mechina students will work as volunteers to help agricultural businesses struck by the coronavirus crisis. Joint Council of Mechinot CEO Dani Zamir said: “Above all, a mechina educates young people about answering the call, commitment to the Jewish people, and commitment to Israeli society".

Mechina students arrive to rescue the citrus industry
Students from the Mechina of the Upper Galilee, Mechinat Aderet, and Mechinat Be’er Ora have arrived as volunteers in the orchards of the Sharon and southern Israel. They are just a few of 1,500 mechina students who have come forward to rescue the Israeli citrus industry
Thanks to our friends at KKL and HaShomer HaChadash for their help with connections and logistics. All activities are conducted according to the directives of the Ministry of Health.
